{"id":9188,"date":"2026-03-24T10:20:48","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T10:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cherryadriagroup.com\/?p=9188"},"modified":"2026-04-02T13:57:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T13:57:12","slug":"poziv-ili-posao-kako-pronaci-svoju-zivotnu-svrhu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cherryadriagroup.com\/en\/poziv-ili-posao-kako-pronaci-svoju-zivotnu-svrhu\/","title":{"rendered":"Do we have a calling \u2014 or just a job?"},"content":{"rendered":"<style>\n.qodef-blog .qodef-e-right {\ndisplay:none;\n}\n<\/style>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do we have a calling \u2014 or just a job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A calling is when we create from inspiration, and material reward comes as a consequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A job is when we create driven solely by a specific material goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The search for one\u2019s calling \u2014 often referred to as \u201clife purpose\u201d \u2014 has become a popular topic, as more and more people are growing tired of creating from goals rather than inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, the idea of life purpose can feel too serious and overwhelming, which leaves many people blocked by its perceived importance \u2014 and as a result, they never discover their path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We tend to have very high expectations when imagining our contribution to life and to others \u2014 and because of that, we often end up doing nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, some people remember even the smallest moment of our attention for the rest of their lives \u2014 and we never even find out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t realize that, at some point, we may have added the \u201ccherry on top\u201d of someone\u2019s life, simply because we considered our own gesture too small \u2014 while our expectations were far greater than what we actually gave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my own search for what I want to do through my private practice \u2014 something I would truly enjoy \u2014 I received a request from someone I will call a client, although, thanks to our relationship, I see them more as a business partner \u2014 to organize an online training for shopping mall managers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why didn\u2019t that idea occur to me earlier, when it was such a natural extension of my experience?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because I gave too much weight to the idea of my life purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although I often had the role of an \u201coffline\u201d mentor throughout my career, when I started working on materials for the online training, I noticed an internal pressure \u2014 questioning whether I would deliver value at the level I expected from myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, over the past two months, the openness and authenticity of the people I\u2019ve been working with have created a beautiful mirror for me \u2014 one I truly enjoy \u2014 and through which I\u2019ve realized that when you create from inspiration, it is enough just to exist \u2014 and you are already contributing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything you share beyond that \u2014 your knowledge and experience \u2014 is simply the cherry on top of our shared existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>#beCherry<br>Have a Cherry Good New Year \ud83c\udf52\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>December, 2025<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Poziv ili posao: kako prona\u0107i svoju \u017eivotnu svrhu Poziv je kada stvaramo iz inspiracije, a materijalna nagrada dolazi kao posledica.
