{"id":9183,"date":"2026-03-24T10:17:23","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T10:17:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cherryadriagroup.com\/?p=9183"},"modified":"2026-03-29T15:10:33","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T15:10:33","slug":"lekcije-sa-najvisih-vrhova-sveta-moc-fokusa-na-naredni-korak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cherryadriagroup.com\/en\/lekcije-sa-najvisih-vrhova-sveta-moc-fokusa-na-naredni-korak\/","title":{"rendered":"Lessons from the World\u2019s Highest Peaks: The\nPower of Focus on the Next Step"},"content":{"rendered":"<style>\n.qodef-blog .qodef-e-right {\ndisplay:none;\n}\n<\/style>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>Nirmal (Nimsdai) Purja from Nepal climbed all 14 of the world\u2019s highest peaks \u2014 in just 7 months.<br>Before him, only one man had achieved the same, but it took him 16 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those less familiar \u2014 preparing to summit just one peak usually takes three to four months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond his extraordinary physical and mental strength, what drove him was a powerful message he wanted to send to his people \u2014 that they are not invisible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It hurt him that the media mostly highlights the achievements of Western climbers, while in reality, none of them could reach the summit without the help of Sherpas \u2014 people from Tibet, whose real names are rarely mentioned.<br>Instead, they are all reduced to one label \u2014 \u201cSherpa.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nims wanted to show the world who the truly capable people in mountaineering are \u2014 by name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with serious preparation for such an achievement, there is also that invisible support \u201cfrom above\u201d \u2014 from God, or however one chooses to call this beautiful force that flows through all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you choose a path knowing there is no turning back \u2014 and on a steep climb you realize that immediately \u2014 you always achieve more than you believed was possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nims called his project \u201cPOSSIBLE\u201d, and while watching the documentary on Netflix, I had the feeling that even the name itself gave him additional strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It made me think \u2014 maybe all of us should give such names to our own small and big projects:<br>\u2b50 POSSIBLE<br>\u2b50 EASY<br>\u2b50 SIMPLE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story reminded me of my first via ferrata experience in the Dolomites, Italy (photo attached). I was 45 \u2014 with no prior training, no real awareness of what was ahead or how long it would last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four hours of climbing along a rocky mountain face \u2014 using both hands and feet, through sections where the rock is vertical like a wall, and sometimes you have no idea where to hold on or where to place your foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And you never know how much longer it will take. The top is not visible, and every moment feels like a fight for survival \u2014 because it\u2019s steep and at a high altitude (the climb was around 900 meters).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your focus must be only on the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I had known what it would look like, I would have never dared to try \u2014 and I certainly wouldn\u2019t have succeeded without good guides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s when I learned \u2014 we don\u2019t need to know what awaits us in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often, we wouldn\u2019t be able to handle that information; it wouldn\u2019t help us \u2014 it would only stop us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like in the mountains, we should:<br>\u2b50 rely on ourselves<br>\u2b50 focus on each individual step<br>\u2b50 wisely choose good guides when we realize we don\u2019t know something<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And perhaps we should call this entire beautiful life one project:<br>\u2b50 IT IS POSSIBLE \u2b50<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>October, 2025.<span id=\"docs-internal-guid-7091ec19-7fff-fa40-a2b8-70dfda542fa9\" style=\"white-space: normal; caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Na 14 najvi\u0161ih vrhova sveta popeo se Nirmal (Nimsdai) Purja iz Nepala \u2014 i to za svega 7 meseci.Pre njega, samo je jedan \u010dovek uspeo isto, ali mu je za to trebalo 16 godina.
